Are you there?
Yeah we're on. How's you p-day going?
We made lunch today and it was really good, we made rice and beans, and then I made chicken breast, and made a nice tomato sauce with it. I added a great garlic salt to it and it was fantastic though we put a little bit too much salt in the rice, but it was really good. I will come home making great stuff haha. Do we have passionfruit in the U.S.? I mean the real fruit, not just the drink. Because I love it, I have learned how to make a mousse out of it and it is great, passionfruit has a thing in it that makes you tired... kind of like turkey. haha. anyway, that was what we ate today. I am also learning how to play the organ, piano and can play the basic line of most hymns already, so who knows what I will be able to do after my mission haha. I love playing deus vos guardem in portuguese, I think dad might be able to translate that (God Be With You)but anyway, I am doing great, no worries.
Tamara: It sounds like you are becoming quite the cook. I can hardly wait until you can cook for me when you get back. Yes, we do have the real passion fruit here. It is very abundant at Pike Place market so we can go there and get some when you get back. I'm so impressed that you are learning how to play the organ and piano, I guess we should have given you piano lessons. Sister Catron would be very impressed as well. Good job! Your talents just continue to emerge and develop. Like I said before, you are amazing! I love you so much! You are wonderful son. How are things going with Elder Schille. Do you get along with each other?
Cameron: yeah, we know some of the same people, tell sister sant that elder schille lives right across the street from summer and page wallice. I think you might know them also, they used to live in maple valley. who do we know from federal way? I am sure I know somebody that he knows.
How has this week been? I hope well. Regarding mail, the rule is that I write or email once a week, I have not been having time to write as of late and I am doing my best to get that done, but it has not been working out. I think I will have time today, but who knows. I am staying in elder schilles house this week, because my companion, being a district leader, is in Goinania for a meeting with the president.
I will do my best to get out a letter and I am sending pictures home so don't worry, but I am going to send a package and I don't know how much it will cost, so can you be sure that I have money on my account so I can pay for it? Anyway, this week has been weird we met some really interesting people including an homosexual drunk guy that wanted to be baptised, but really was just trying to tell us that we were not men of god if we didn't give him money for some unknown purpose as he was standing in front of a bar. haha. It was actually kind of frustrating, but the rest of the week was just normal, aside from my companion going to Goinania. How are you all doing? I hope really well, I am glad you had a good time with elder Schilles mom, and I really will try to get you pictures as soon as possible.
Vince: Glad all is well. And way cool about learning to play piano and organ!
How are your investigators doing?
We'll put some extra money in the bank for you to use for whatever.
We love you and miss you. btw, Lilly really had a sad moment the other night, she was all sad about you being gone and said to mom, "how many more days will he be on gone?" with some tears in her eyes. She's the best. She bore her testimony on Sunday as well.
Cameron: Well you gotta go and get me all ready to be home sheesh. that´s sweet though, tell Lilly I love her and that I loved her letter that she sent me, she is so cute and a good girl.
Just incase you didn´t hear we had an earthquake hear yesterday, it was minor, but not even the old people from this city can remember that happening before, so we are kind of apprehensive, but don´t scare mom by telling her that. It was fun because I have felt them before but everyone else was kind of freaked out. haha me an elder Schille were at lunch when it happened.
I am going to have to get going soon, thanks for the emails and concerns, just remember I am fine just a bit tired haha. anyway. I love you all, I am going to try really really hard to get letters out this week okay so don´t worry. I love you all very very much, be happy!
Love,
Elder Cameron Dean Summerhays
P.S. Bisquic(SP) would be great!
